Nipple tassels!!

This week has been hectic!
I'm moving out, i'm packing for Dubai, i'm freelancing and i'm taking orders! But i managed to fit in a little post :)

I learnt how to make nipple tassel's and pasties back at university and trust me they are so fun to make! You can make them as tacky as you like and they still come out cute. To prove this theory i bought some gold sequins on a trim, some crystal diamante, fuchsia tassel's, white bows and some pink faux maribu feather trim. Very drag queen-esque!

One of the first things i did was make my templates, just out of some simple cardboard i had lying around. I then took my templates and drew around them onto some faux leather. You can use real leather but i prefer not to just because i don't like to use a product of an animal when it comes to my own designs. If you buy faux leather try to buy some with a suede like inside as it can get a bit sweaty with the leather side sticking to you and you don't want them falling off!

I can then start to add my decoration to the base! I start first with the gold sequin trim. Just gluing and twisting around and around.

Once finished i left to dry before adding a tassel to each pastie.

Next its using the pink fluffy maribu feathers!

Again all i do is glue and twist into position and hold until the glue dries.

Now for some bows

Most people wouldn't typically use the word adorable to describe nipple tassel's and pasties but i really do think these are!

These are definitely my personal favourite!

These took me around 40 minutes and cost A LOT of back pain! However the end result is amazing. Each crystal has been glued by hand row after row. If you were on a stage dancing burlesque then they would really glitter against the stage lighting.
