Sorry I've been MIA from my blog for a little while so time to jump back in!
Big things were happening and had to work on other projects with other companies but managed to squeeze in a design!
It all started with a quote ...
I then drew a quick idea on my ipad and I'm ready to go!
When I design lingerie for the blog I usually don't draw anything, I simply do it from my head. The total opposite of how I design in industry. When I'm creating lingerie for a brand It is extremely important to CAD every little feature to ensure the perfect product, however when I'm designing my own things it gives me a break from sitting on the computer for hours!
Time to go through my pattern folder, I have decided on a push up bra and thong set with some accessories and lots of bejewelling.
So it's off to the market! Every Tuesday this adorable older husband and wife bring hundreds of trims, beads and appliqué's to my local market and I spend forever looking through their boxes of treats. I found some beautiful cream appliqués which I embellished with pearls and sequins.
As it was sunny (which doesn't happen all that often in England) I decided to take advantage of the weather and sit outside in the garden and sew bead. I think I'm going to invest in an extension cable so that I can bring my sewing machine outside when it's lovely and hot!
After several hours its finished!
